just cut my finger very, very deeply, and thought of you when I went to the ER, thinking I needed stitches. But the line was too long, so I will take my chances and let it heal by itself.

I visited Paris last weekend. I shrieked when I saw a blond, pregnant British woman with a little girl and wanted to yell: “Look!! It’s Petite Anglaise!!” But as I was doing the math in my head very quickly, I discovered the girl was too little and the tummy too big. So I ended up screaming: “Look!! It’s P…ompidou!”
Had a wonderful time though; wish I had read this post earlier…

Lovely description, Petite! I’ll be spending Fall semester in Paris–this seems like a charming place to visit.
