These "tour guides" are charging a minimum of 100 euros/person to show people where the Louvre is. It is absolutely insane. My Mom and her two sisters were just here and they were quoted (by the hotel) a price of 1400 euros for someone to drive them around Paris and point out the major Da Vinci Code spots. Can you imagine? So, I took half of that and had a taxi drive us around. The Da Vinci Code has created a whole new set of tour guides in Paris.
