It’s a bit odd that Where is Raed? won for Best African/Middle Eastern blog despite lying fallow now for a year.

And needless to say, I wish Petite won. The Empire’s droids should compete in a separate category.

david - ha ha - I wondered how that happened! I thought I was the first to tell her and then you beat me to it dammit.

watski - I was actually trying to brush tadpole’s teeth and read IRC at the same time so it was all very stressful. Mr Frog heard my cry of ‘oh flaps!’ and disappeared, only to reappear bearing a very large glass of wine. I can’t say I was surprised though. Defamer gets more hits in one day than I do in six months…
