Congratulations on a smooth and successful upgrade! Not bad for someone who claims to have no technical knowledge or understanding! Let’s hope that this host meets expectations - the old host did seem to have A MENacingly slow server.

American customer service at its best. Actually, as an American, I am a little shocked. Depending on where you are over here, customer service can either be bliss, or a horror show. Glad you’re getting the better end of the deal.

And yes, in the words of the late, great Graham Chapman, “Get on with it!, Well? Get on with it!”

I just did the Wordpress upgrade (because I like living on the edge), and apart from a few seconds of heart failure, alleviated slightly by a couple of readers holding my hand via email, and a lightning response from my host (2 minutes to answer a query - this is a whole different world ;-)), we now seem to be all systems go again.

Right, I would now like to just write on this blog for a while and forget about servers and databases and suchlike.

Agreed?
