  1. Well now I know what “dooced” means. I’m a bit Jane-come-lately to this blogging lark and I had to look it up on Google.
What a poker-faced lot your ex-employers must have been.

  2. I notice Petite appears in the credits for the editing team. Anything to get your story in the top 100 eh? ;)
I have used lulu.com in the past before, and though it takes a while for it to pop through the letterbox, it’s good quality. Plus this is for charity, so buy it!

Oh to be able to start a blog post with that!

I can of course and I probably will. I’ll be lying but i can still do it.

  7. “Dashing off to Switzerland to visit a friend..” Would this be your bank manager?

  8. I was so curious, yet not in aplace where I can afford to buy it. The fact that Lulu wants my credit card details and other billing/ shipping information in order to provide me with a free download isn’t enticing. Would there be another way to access the free download?

  9. Ahhhh! I just ordered it.

Pretty painless via paypal and nice that I was already registered with lulu.com.

I am really excited about it! Well done to all involved, I’m sure it’ll be superb! (It wasn’t too steep and I ordered it here in the States too so hopefully it’ll get here before I move out west to Colorado!)

  10. Gergeoux,
You obviously don’t live in the UK. The whole point of this book is to make money for Comic Relief who in turn help the dying and starving of Africa and the dispossessed of the UK. It is not about promoting Petite much as we love her, or downloading for free.

  11. Good point, Welsh Cake. Wherever I live (Romania), money for charity makes sense, and I’d jump in if I could. In which case the ‘download for free’ option shouldn’t appear on Lulu in the first place. Correct?

  12. Excellent stuff. As soon as I have a reliable internet connection (I’m sat on the train towards Paddington at the moment), I’ll go order a copy.

    Looks good.

  14. I’ll be presumptious and provide a little more explanation, for random surfers / those outside the loop…

This is a book of funny posts donated by UK bloggers in order to raise money for charity (”Red Nose Day” is an annual UK fundraising event).

Petite helped edit the book, and one of her posts is also contained within the book. And it’s for charity. So there you go: Many many reasons to buy it!
