Thank you for posting the picture and the comments. (Which made a bit teary, but teary in the happy way.) It is hard to find words to describe the joys of commitment to marriage, but I think the picture you posted captures all the love, hope, enchantment, emotion that loving couples feel.

You both were gorgeous, (OK, I thought you were more so, but I am prejudiced) and the one picture I found on the Internet of Tadpole’s back showed her to be prettily decked out appropriate to her position as Princess in Waiting.

I just moved to Paris last night - near Belleville metro. It’s very daunting, I can’t understand much french…I hope I will pick up a bit more soon. I’m doing an intensive french course, but at the moment I have all these irrational fears about saying anything in French. There is so much more in my head than I can express - I just process the language too slowly.

This is the first time I’ve read your blog, and when I saw ‘le mariage’ post, I was hoping it was Mr Frog. What happened to him? I had a soft spot for him when reading the book.

Comment ça va avec Mr frog et Tadpole? Je peux me permitter de vous dire que la séparation de Mr Frog et vous est passée à une façon très digne? J’ai beaucoup de respect pour vous deux. J’esperais un peu que vous deux devenaient amoureus de nouveau… Mais je le comprend très bien. Mon mari était un peu dans la même situations il ya 9 ans, il a choisi pour sa propre chance, et il est parfaitemant heureux maintenant avec moi
